Talstack Launches Time Off Module to Simplify Employee Leave Management
Talstack has introduced Time Off, a new leave management module designed to make it easier for organisations to handle employee leave requests, approvals and leave balances from one place.
The new tool is being added to Talstack’s wider people management platform as the company works towards building a broader AI-enabled Human Resources Management System (HRMS).
New Tool Targets Common Leave Management Challenges
For many organisations, keeping track of annual leave, sick days and other forms of employee time off can become messy when requests are handled through spreadsheets, emails, paper forms or messaging apps.
Talstack says its Time Off module is designed to bring those processes together in a single system.
Employees will be able to submit leave requests, monitor their status and check how much leave they have available without having to rely on separate records or repeatedly contact HR.
Managers, meanwhile, will have a clearer view of requests from their teams, allowing them to make approval decisions while considering staffing and team coverage.
Companies Can Configure Leave Policies
The platform will also allow administrators to set up leave policies according to their organisation’s requirements.
This could help HR teams manage different types of leave and keep employee records more organised as requests are submitted and approved.
Talstack says each request, approval and change to an employee’s leave balance will be recorded within the platform. Having those records in one location could make reporting, internal reviews and compliance-related checks easier for organisations.
Talstack Expands Its Wider HR Platform
Time Off is not being launched as a standalone product disconnected from Talstack’s existing tools.
The company already offers features covering areas such as performance management and employee learning. Its performance tools allow businesses to set goals, align employee objectives with organisational priorities, conduct 360-degree reviews and manage appraisals and feedback.
Its learning features also allow organisations to provide training through an existing content catalogue or their own materials.
With Time Off now joining the platform, Talstack is moving closer to its broader goal of bringing different stages of employee management into one HR system.
Time Off Becomes Available to Businesses
Talstack co-founder and CEO Seni Sulyman said the company developed the module after spending time understanding the challenges users face with existing ways of managing leave.
The company says Time Off became available from August 27, 2026, giving organisations another option for managing employee leave without depending heavily on spreadsheets, emails and separate manual records.
The launch represents another step in Talstack’s effort to build a more connected HR platform covering employee management, engagement and development.
