Eazyply Launches AI-Powered Hiring Platform to Connect African Talent With Global Jobs
Eazyply, a human resources technology startup founded by U.S.-based Nigerian entrepreneur Olalekan Yekinni, has launched an artificial intelligence-powered recruitment platform designed to give African professionals greater access to job opportunities in the global labour market.
The platform is built around two main products: Eazyply Talent Passport and Eazyply Business.
Eazyply Talent Passport gives job seekers a digital professional profile where they can showcase their skills, certifications, projects and verified work experience. The platform is designed to go beyond the traditional CV by giving employers a broader view of a candidate’s abilities and professional background.
Eazyply Business, meanwhile, is aimed at employers and recruitment teams. It allows businesses to search for candidates, manage recruitment processes and collaborate with other members of their hiring teams.
Eazyply Targets Barriers Facing African Job Seekers
According to Yekinni, Eazyply was created to tackle some of the barriers that prevent qualified African professionals from being discovered by international employers.
As competition for skilled workers continues to increase across global markets, the company wants employers to be able to assess candidates based on their verified skills and experience rather than personal connections or professional networks.
“Our vision is simple, we want talented people to be discovered because of what they can do, not because they know the right person,” Yekinni said.
The platform is intended to connect professionals and employers across Nigeria and other African countries with opportunities in markets including the United States, United Kingdom and Canada.
Platform Brings Job Seekers and Recruiters Closer
Beyond helping professionals create digital profiles, Eazyply is also working with universities, technology training institutions and workforce development organisations.
Through these partnerships, graduates and other professionals can create verified Talent Passports that potential employers can use when assessing candidates.
The approach could be particularly useful for professionals seeking remote and international opportunities, where employers may need more information about a candidate than a conventional CV provides.
Eazyply said the platform has already attracted users from several countries since its launch, although the company has not disclosed specific user numbers or other performance figures.
Startup Eyes Bigger Role in Africa’s Digital Workforce
Yekinni said Eazyply’s broader goal is to contribute to Africa’s growing digital economy by improving workforce development, expanding access to remote employment and making it easier for companies to find qualified professionals across borders.
The company sees geography as one of the major challenges that technology can help overcome in the modern labour market.
“We believe Africa’s greatest resource is its people,” Yekinni said. “Our mission is to ensure that talent is no longer limited by geography whether you are a graduate in Lagos, a software engineer in Abuja, a designer in Accra, or an employer in London or Toronto.”
With artificial intelligence increasingly being used in recruitment and workforce management, Eazyply is positioning its platform as a bridge between African professionals and companies looking for skilled talent internationally.
